I’m excited to share a unique opportunity to engage in an innovative mental health seminar, “Stand Up for Mental Health: Healing Through Humor,” hosted by The Greater Baltimore Section National Council of Negro Women (GBS-NCNW) and the Enoch Pratt Free Library.
Join us as we blend the power of humor with critical mental health insights to tackle pressing issues such as COVID-related grief and trauma, addiction, code-switching, intersectionality, and mental health within the justice system. Our distinguished panel includes comedians Huggy Lowdown, Chris Paul, and Stiletto, as well as renowned psychologist Dr. Jeffrey Gardere, moderated by Emmy-nominated TV host Tiffany “Lady T” Watson.
Don’t miss the “Brother 2 Brother” breakout session, a private discussion for men of color, led by men of color, addressing community-specific challenges.
📅 Date: Saturday, June 8
🕐 Time: 1:00pm – 4:00pm
📍 Location: Central Library, 400 Cathedral Street, Baltimore, MD 21201
While registration is preferred, it’s not required. Register here https://www.eventbrite.com/e/brother-2-brother-tickets-863221929027?aff=oddtdtcreator and for the “Brother 2 Brother” session.
